You’ve taken a step towards creating a more authentic, memorable, and impactful narrative about your career—and about yourself.
When we’re asked questions like “what do you do?” or given prompts such as “tell me about yourself,” it can put us in an uncomfortable position.
If we don’t have a story to tell, we leave it up to chance that we’ll have the energy (and the words) to answer the question in a way we can be proud of. As a result, we can fluster in interviews or social settings—and launch into what others might want to hear. We're here to build your trust in your authentic story.
A story is a connected set of facts, events, and reflections, that tell another person who you are. When I lead people to create their own Career Story, it’s with the goal of creating better alignment between who you are and who you want to be.
You’ll have a career story when, you’re able to tell a story of your career in a way that people connect with and remember. When you can tell a story that shows you understand yourself, the people who hear it will feel a stronger connection to you.
