Build EQ by describing the character of your experiences.

Learning to spot and name your emotions can help us better understanding our own experiences AND improve our ability to effectively communicate what we’re experiencing to other people.

That's where out handy Emotion & Feeling Wheel comes in. It's like a colorful map to help you explore out what you might be feeling.

How to use the wheel:

  1. Start at the center. What is your primary emotion right now?
  2. Get more specific. Which of the sub-types of emotions resonate most?
  3. Get to the outer ring to name a specific feeling or emotion.
  4. Repeat as needed to name additional feelings or emotions.

By the way, it's natural to pick more than one — we often feel lots of things at once!
